  2.  Location:  Main Menu
  3.  Function:  Direct Actions of Rosscards

  9. Open RAM
  10.  Location:  Default Path Entry/Modification Screen
  11.  Function:  Enter default pathways into RossCards
  12.  In order for RossCards to display PCX files and access
  13.  a scanner utility, the storage pathways must be entered.
  14.  Enter a Drive:\Directory for each path prompt.  At the
  15.  Scanner Utility prompt, simply enter the executable file
  16.  name of your Scanner.  For Example:
  17. PCX PATH:
  18. C:\ROSSCARD\PCX
  19. SCANNER PATH:  C:\SCAN
  20. SCANNER EXE:
  21. SCAN.EXE
  22.  Location:  Default Pathway Display Screen
  23.  Function:  Display default pathways, and allow editting
  24. of same.
  25.  The Default Pathway Display Screen has three functional
  26.  "Hot Keys":
  27.   <Enter> will allow editting of existing defaults
  28.   <Del> will delete current defaults and prompt for new
  29.   <F1> retrieves this help screen
  30.  Location:  Card Entry/Edit Form
  31.  Function:  Allows input of data to main database
  32.  The Card Entry/Edit Form is a simple prompted screen to
  33.  input data.  Type the prompted response as you desire it
  34.  to appear in the database and end reports.
  35.  PLEASE NOTE: You must attach the PCX extension to the
  36. name of the scanned image file.
  37. Location:  Card Display Table
  38. Function:  Provide a scrolling list of all cards with total count/value.
  39. Also provides launching spot for information display/entry
  40.  (Scrolling Card Table
  41.  Available "Hot Keys"
  42. Locate by Last Name
  43.  Location:  Export Menu
  44.  Function:  Export RossCard Datafiles to standardized
  45. formats.  Available formats *.DBF/ASCII
  46.  Highlight the desired option and strike <Enter>.  You
  47.  may also use the highlights.
  48.  This feature is new in RossCard 2.00.  The thought being
  49.  to provide a more easily exchanged datafile between
  50.  collectors for sale and trade.  Possibly opening up
  51.  telecommunications for exchange of data between large
  52.  collectors.  Just beware, in large collections the *.DBF
  53.  conversion is slow.
  54.   Location:  Report Menu
  55.   Function:  Select desired printed output format
  56.   Highlight the desired menu option, and press <Enter>.
  57.   Menu Highlights may also be used.
